New Products: Sevens Place mats and coasters!

I just wanted to tell you about one of my new products, the new Sevens place mats and coasters. The design is available in two colours, taupe and red, are sold in a set of six and are all made in the UK. 

Dehli Days Table mats & Coasters

The studio is full of activity at the moment, as we race to get all our samples ready so we can include them in our new brochure. We are photographing the new along with some of my old classic designs, Dehli Days above is one of them and I thought you might like to know a bit of background to the designs.

The images I took on a magical trip to Delhi and Jaipur a few years ago. I wanted to capture the colour and vibrancy of the country along with focusing on the modes of transport on offer to me as a traveller. The lorries were all so photogenic I could have spent my whole time purely recording them. But I thought I would show you some other images that I have just dug up, ones that did not make the cut, but they transport me back to my enjoyable time there. The colour amidst the chaos, the character and graphic stimulation to the eye is crazy..... enjoy!

Celebrate the Routemaster centenary with my Routemaster collection

The wonderful 38 bus route celebrated 100 years yesterday and a fleet of special original buses were running the route from Hackney to Victoria for all to enjoy. 

I was not in town so I was not able to capture any pics myself, but Arriva London have linked up with Maggie’s, cancer charity, and are running a campaign called ‘Walk the 38’.More events are planned so keep up to date with their website

Ella Doran & Kew Royal Botanical Gardens

I am very happy to announce a brand new collection that I have designed for the fantastic Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew. The full range of products are now available in their beautiful shop and online. Sample Sale Repeat

Thank you to all who made it to our sample sale in March. We were delighted to meet so many of our customers personally and surprised by how many of you emailed us to say you were sorry you couldn't make it. So, we’ve decided to organize another studio sale this month. There will still be plenty of stock of cushions, coasters, table mats, mugs, trays, paper products, etc. - and it may be the last big studio sale for a while as we’ll be moving most of our stock to a fulfillment centre. The date for the last sample sale is;

Friday 27th April 10am-7pm

Saturday 28th April 11am-5pm

The studio is a walking distance from Haggerston Overground station, and we're tucked in between two residential homes. Hope to see you then!

The Sample Sale

The sample sale was great! The sun was shining and it was very warm for being March and a lot of people dropped by. We had such a good time that we actually forgot to take photos...but we did take some when we set everything up and here they are.

Thanks to everyone who dropped by, it was great to meet you all!

Here in London the spring has arrived and in the studio we are getting ready for this weeks sample sale (cushions, mugs, umbrellas, coasters, table mats, etc.). We hope that we will see you there!

Sample Sale 22-24th March

Next week we're having a Big Sample Sale at Ella's East London studio at 57a Lawford Road, London, N1 5BJ.

We are tucked in between two residential homes and have a lovely little yard, where we can all welcome the spring with a glass of wine or a cup of tea (weather permitting). Please come along to pick through some end-of-line stocks and sample gems of our new collections : cushions, table mats, coasters, umbrellas, wrapping paper, notebooks, etc.

The studio is walking distance from Haggerston Overground Station and pay and display parking is available on Downham Road - Lawford Road is just off Downham Road.

Introducing - 'Geo'

We are happy to showcase the latest edition to the Ella Doran Family - 'Geo'. The design comes from an image Ella had taken in Berlin of a piece of architectural relief, the image has been worked into a repeat and voila! - the stylish 'Geo' is born. Appearing on wallpaper, blinds, fabric, cushions, trays, placemats and coasters it has already become a firm favourite with us.
