....tied up with string, these are a few of our favourite things. We wished that we could always send out pretty parcels like this but with postage being what it is we doubt they would arrive this way. *Tip* To be sure that your package will survive the post - kick it down two flights of stairs!

Brand New Bambu

We are proud stockists of the fantastically ethical products from Bambu. Made using bamboo and coconuts the products are handmade and finished in a hardwaring colourful lacquer. Products include bowls, utensils and nesting baskets.

Friday Featured

This Friday has been so miserable that all we wanted to do is curl up with a good book and be transported somewhere far away. Instead we had an in depth look into Max Fraser's 'London Design Guide', which prompted us to want to draw and design and create so we thought our childrens book 'A is for Artist' illustrated that perfectly. When you get in from work and there is nothing on the box - just stay in and draw. Being productive can be so satisfying! Have a good weekend!

Friday Featured

This posting should be filled with tons of great photos of all the brand new stock that arrived in store today, however due to a technical hitch (the battery on the camera died - wah!) we are just going to have to report on the great stuff that we unpackaged. From the German company Hey-Sign we now have delightful 100% pure new wool 'Carry' bags, (we are all lusting after one) in fantastic bold colours and keyrings in the shape of piggies and elephants and butterflies - very cute. From the fantastic Danish Flensted we have got fun hanging mobiles (the 'Soaring Seagulls' is a definite winner) and from seasoned favourite LSA International we have beautiful handmade glass vases - perfect Mother's Day gifts, just add a few flowers. Colourful tumblers, high balls and jugs, which have us longing for summer, Pimms on the lawn, Tanqueray and tonic on the veranda - can't wait! Pictures, we promise, will be up loaded asap to back up all of this information. Enjoy your weekend!

Marble Madness!

A quick photoshoot to illustrate an interesting idea, turned into a half hour of great fun, as the shoot fell apart in a noisy avalanche and we were all chasing marbles across the studio!
